Trump doesn't have any policies. He hasn't done anything except capitulate whenever someone sucks his cock.

Even Republicans are complaining about this. It's not fake news, it's how he does business.

You are supporting an interesting President if that is the case. I would say he is the antithesis of what you espouse. In strong part he only holds office because of his ability to project a phantom of success.

If ever there was an image over substance time in America, it is now.

I didn't say I supported anyone. The original post regards image, which I find meaningless. As for this administration, some thing I can agree with, others I don't. I do have deep reservations, however it's too premature to render an opinion. Yet it remains the greatest Nation ever designed, and shall continue to be.

I don't need any more time to issue a judgment: Trump is an empty shirt and our national dysfunction has been amped up by a factor of 5 because of him. We have begun falling from our leadership role in the world.

*Trump Handed Putin a Stunning Victory *

President Donald Trump needed to accomplish two things this week during his visits to Poland and the G-20 Summit in Hamburg. First, he needed to reassure America’s allies that he was committed to collective defense and the core set of values and principles that bind us together. Second, he needed to demonstrate that he understands that the greatest threat to that alliance, those values, and our security is the Kremlin.

Trump delivered neither of these.

In very concrete terms, through speech and action, the president signaled a willingness to align the United States with Vladimir Putin’s worldview, and took steps to advance this realignment. He endorsed, nearly in its totality, the narrative the Russian leader has worked so meticulously to construct.

The readout of Trump’s lengthy meeting with Putin included several key points. First, the United States will “move on” from election hacking issues with no accountability or consequences for Russia; in fact, the U.S. will form a “framework” with Russia to cooperate on cybersecurity issues, evaluating weaknesses and assessing potential responses jointly. Second, the two presidents agreed not to meddle in “each other’s” domestic affairs—equating American activities to promote democracy with Russian aggression aimed at undermining it, in an incalculable PR victory for the Kremlin. Third, the announced, limited cease-fire in Syria will be a new basis for cooperation between the U.S. and Russia; Secretary of State Rex Tillerson went so far as to say that the Russian approach in Syria—yielding mass civilian casualties, catastrophic displacement, untold destruction and erased borders—may be “more right” than that of the United States.

Each of these points represents a significant victory for Putin. Each of them will weaken U.S. tools for defending its interests and security from the country that defines itself as America’s “primary adversary.” Trump has ceded the battle space—physical, virtual, moral—to the Kremlin. And the president is going to tell us this is a “win.”

I find it incredulous that by choosing a different path than the global mindset, equates to "falling from our leadership role". I mean, certainly one can argue his decisions and directions, yet to suggest because this administration won't follow the Global trend doesn't mean it's not leading, in fact quite the opposite. The question is, is it the right direction?

The greatest threat to western values is coming from the left, who is all too eager to squash freedom of speech to gain power. The left doesn't care about the migrant invasion or starting WW3, or even pitting Americans against each other as long as they gain more political power.

Trump made a brilliant speech in Poland expressing that western values are worth saving. Western culture will prevail this onslaught, whereas the DNC will not.

Yes. That left again. Canceling press briefings, restricting press access, attacking the media: gosh darn them!

Meanwhile, the right really is doing that, and additionally pushing for voter suppression and stoking xenophobia based in a large part on economic problems. It's no accident this national populist movement is being compared to fascist regimes.

I see terrorism as a problem addressed through immigration policy. I'm not a hypocrite.

Republicans see terrorism as a problem that needs to be addressed through Orwellian suppression of human rights. They refuse to address the immigration side of it because they absolutely require slave labor for their constituents. Where the left fails is that they apply bad remedies to broken immigration and advocate sanctuary cities. They are wrong also but at least they aren't being hypocritical.

Republicans and the minions who give them power simultaneously need lots of illegal immigration AND they need them to remain illegal so wages can be forced as low as possible. No one ever talks about these things because y'all are programmed to spout one side or the other. Donald Trump is too stupid to see what game the right is playing so all his talk about a wall is simply going to be ignored. It will never happen.

Terrorism itself is fundamentally a problem of crime. They are criminals plotting murder although they are damned bad at it. Much less efficient than a Chicago drug gang. If you want to end terrorism, it's quite easy. Secure the borders and increase the funding for non-military police. No one will do this but y'all will continue to be outraged at the wrong side.

The intent of gathering the information is to do what? Purge the voter rolls.

You know what happens when the US government tries to collect up information on where Michael Smith and Rodrigo Hernandez are registered to vote and mistakenly purge valid voters because their names are so common/mistaken? Voter suppression!

Additionally the climate of fear right now has people NOT wanting to even register in states where they are willing to collect that.

You can verify without doing this.
