Justme - Sorry to hear that the majority of women you come across are not what your looking for. I have two daughters in their twenties…nope not offering them to anyone....lol. One lives and works in DC and met a guy who really seems to have settled her. What I mean is the domestic things in life seem to take precedence over the materialistic stuff. She likes to go out and party and enjoy the typical night life stuff, but also, enjoys taking walks in the parks and hiking or spends the day exploring the Museums and exhibits and eating at home. Its healthier and cheaper.
Now my other daughter likes to shop and is a lot more materialistic. Travels, take every opportunity that comes her way in life and is enjoying it to the fullest. She ended up moving back to her home community of the central valley to take a job in her field in the Agi industry. She makes a decent living and doesn’t sacrifice much for herself. Yet she is true to her family, boyfriend and friends. She treats people with respect and has a lot of friends. She one of these gals that people gravitate to. She’s attractive but seems to make people feel good when they are around her. Many of the girls friends hold these similar attributes too. So, what I’m trying to saying is there are decent ladies out in this big bad world, not just the single over 40 desperate ones! :- )
I wonder if people set the realistic standards for what they are really want in a partner? Also, location, location, location! It not only stands true for house shopping but maybe for mate shopping too! Try going outside the Silicon Valley the grass could be greener!
Sybrib - No, I didn’t live in the Silicon Valley, moved outside the SF bay area when I got married to a quiet and more calming community to raise my family.

Have faith guys, not all women want men to be taller, richer, darker or handsomer to be happy! There are a lot of misconceptions of what both sexs think the other is looking for!
