The difference is simply this: Most Americans love the freedom of donating to any worthy cause they choose. Whereas liberals want to FORCE others to donate to causes THEY deem worthy. - On 22 Dec 2009

To say capitalism is inefficient is like saying "I want to buy a new Chevy" is inefficient, or "I want a Domino's pizza today" is inefficient. The free choice of consumers is NEVER inefficient. Capitalism is freedom of choice (well other than killing fetus's). Its only inefficient when the government interferes and intervenes with "controls" and regulations.
Capitalism has equal opportunity but not equal results. Socialism has no opportunity but equal results. - On 22 Dec 2009

War(s) expand the power of the government. But after war the national planning continues. Government planning expands to the social-welfare state over time with harmful results. Economic activity is impeded by government regulations as businesses become less productive. In other words, government is an economic burden to the productive sector of society.
But its ONLY the productive sector of society that protests. The recipients of all the free-be's are not the one's who complain. Capitalism = productive. Socialism = destructive.
END THE FED. Support Rand Paul, Peter Schiff and the Campaign for Liberty.
