I saw the bubble coming, and sold my investments in 2005. Since 2011, i have been buying homes in the phoenix metro as long term rentals. So far this has worked out spectacularly well!

Imagine that you woke up tomorrow morning to discover $1 million under your mattress. Leaving aside the obvious lumpiness issue, take a moment to think: What would you do with that cash?

I'd buy a new mountain bike!!!!

I don't know IWOG. we've just seen sea change in extraction technologies for fuel, and robotics too will all make mining gold much cheaper.

Add in that a recovering economy within the next 10 years gives a lot more companies that can make someone rich. I want to own the leaders in robotics, self driving cars, better batteries, etc. going forward.

Gold just sits there. the world is about to be upended!

I saw approx. 90% of the passengers waddle around the ship all week. Unbelieveable!!! Also, the majority of the ages were in their 30's - 40's... which should be the prime of their life...

what the hell cruise were you on that was that young? I did a norweigian cruise a couple years back, I think the average age was like 150 or something! and except for the filipino workers, 110% of the boat was overweight!
