It was the well-spoken argument regarding home prices, who disagrees, and a seemingly neutral place for rational discussion about housing. I must have read that essay 100 times. Now, I'm not even sure where it is.

What got me hooked on this site was that same essay and the daily news that Patrick posts.
Now, this forum is not any of that. This forum is a place where I can call a wankstain a wankstain and not pretend it's a beautiful needle point work of art.
So, Gentle Readers, let it be said that the Congress of the US, both parties, SCOTUS, POTUS, and our dear European friends are wankstains one and all. They are all waiting around for another hand out from the taxpayers when the next crisis comes along. The Europeans are slow-walking their problems right to our door? You get that, don't you?
Hmm.
I just read that there are $600 Trillion worth of derivatives out there. Imagine that! $600 Trillion worth. 10 times the total current world output of $60 Trillion.
All I can say is that we are hopelessly screwed. We are fucked. Really.
Oh, and wait until China starts to have inflation. We'll get it, then. That fucker Bernanke is setting us up to lose the value of our money by as much as 2/3 to 3/4. Just Fuck you, Bernanke. Why don't you go fuck a stump?
