WH & DOJ Sanction Illegal Activity

The White House and Department of Justice again turn a blind eye on the illegal price fixing of the nations short term interest rates. It was reported today that Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke, will "keep interest rates where they are, possibly as far out as 2014".

Its price fixing, pure and simple - forget supply and demand, forget risk - apparently those factors are ignored and have nothing to do with "pricing" when it comes to The Fed. Activities such as this would land any other entity in jail...but not the Fed.

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others". All the more reason to vote Ron Paul.

Is there a reason you spell government as gubmint?

Thank You for aksing. I hope you grant me the courtesy and answer , why you did.
I believe it is instinctive or from lessons learned from my Irish ancestry. The English Crown may have been the most arrogant Gubmint of all times.
Presently, I believe it is learning of the double standards imputed from our present controllers. Couple examples. Can you have a friendly card game or Any gambling event without risking criminal record. They promote LOTTO. Loan a family member money. They decide a minimum Interest Rate. Can You subdivide land without creating an easement ? They do . If you were involved in insider trading are you automatically a member of Congress ? The list is extensive, deplorable and GROWING.
GOVERN means control. "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." Do you feel our freedoms slipping away ?

Will the next generation be hindered from enjoying home ownership due to GUBMINT influence ?

Please point me to the specific section of the federal code that makes the setting of interest rates by the federal reserve illegal.

I can point you to the section that authorizes it explicitly if you'd like. Please let me know when you find the part that makes it illegal.

You'd be surprised by the things that entities created by the federal government are allowed to do that "anybody else" would go to jail for.

Every time some idiot thinks that the same rules do (or should) apply to a government as applies to private citizens or organizations, I am thankful that they're not in charge of anything.

Gubmint holds interest rates to zero untill 2014. That's ur gubmint building pretentious confidence .
Retirees earning less than one percent on their savings and the thought of gubmint holding real property prices high is really exciting first time home buyers.
    BUT they got book lernin.

As opposed to an UNLIMITED GUBMINT TYPE ? And thanks for answering.

Keep it in perspective, My favorite sport is auto racing. It's leaders have achieved the height of the sport. It is called "RESTRICTED RACING". Our present Gubmint leader mocks America's "Rough & Tumble PAST". He says it doesn't work. OH FUCK ! Going fast and freedom were the two things I live for. How about YOU ?

All you have to know is that it's good for the corporatists. There's no law that can't be broken without consequence if it profits those who pay off our elected official. No mind is given to what is good for the vast majority of people or the consequences to their lives, so long as the international elites are served. It's simple oligarchy.

American capitalism is predatory, and American politics are corrupt: The same thing is true in England and the same in France; but in all these three countries the dominating fact is that whatever the people get ready to change the government, they can change it. Upton Sinclair-socialist

That's how they screw the middle class to save the TBTF bad wall street gambles. Saving their bad wall street bets by hiding losses and slowly passing them onto the middle class.

If banks were to start accounting for their losses, and rates were to go to normal a lot of very wealthy people would have to live with the results of their gambles. But as usual the government simply socializes the losses.

We're talking about the same government and department of justice that has tortured, murdered, kidnapped, and held without trial many innocent people. I'm surprised they would do anything illegal.

I wonder about your word deceptive, I fear it is more cultural.
I had the opportunity to discuss an encroachment situation with one gubmint official.
A new SAN JOSE city office under construction conflicting with the parish next door. The Church did not want to move away in order to allow the city to expand it's project. The city official I spoke with, seemed almost vengeful in his response to my question of the irregular shape of the City Property. He said something like " We Will figure out a way to get rid of them."
We are becoming a divide. We morphed ! A them and Us kind of gubmint. They Fight and deceive us in order to protect their own. Dammit, WE are supposed to be their own.
