It is not: 1. Repeatedly unfaithful to multiple wives 2. Trying to convince an unwilling wife to enter into the "alternative lifestyle" of the poly-amorous swinger 3. Fined for ethics violations 4. Fled in fear from the his own party who were ready to boil and eat him (Newt did call them "cannibals") if he did not quit as the Speaker 5. Taken huge amounts of money from special interets 6. Hmmm... I can't think of anymore now, but I feel like I am forgetting something... What the hell could be any more damning that would convince Republicans not to vote fore him. If she had pictures/video of him actively participating in pedophile snuff films that may convince them. What would probably be more of a lock to prevent him from activating the GOP vote is if she were able to reveal that Newt is a closet mormon.

Tonight he repeated his stance on rewarding illegal aliens here. 1. Green cards, not citizenship. Still absurd because the only distinction between a green card and citizenship is a. legal gun ownership b. legal voting. They would of course continue to do a and b which they do already today. 2. Moon base alpha! Newt thinks back to Kennedy and proposes a base on the moon. Talk about an economic stimulus. Talk about a nutty professor. It's all over but the crying as they say.

It would probably just up his numbers if there was evidence that he groped Pelosi.

It would probably just up his numbers if there was evidence that he groped Pelosi. Gotta love the Christian wing of American politics. Used to be they cared enough about the morality questions that they actually used it to vet candidates from EITHER party. Now, when one of "theirs" has serious character issues, they cheer the criminal and denounce the vetter! Newt says his moral failings make him gooder, and that's good enough for me!
