Unless you've been living under a rock, he referred to a victim of sexual assault as a "slut." This isn't about politics, this is about a guy who has derided drug users, yet went to rehab for drug abuse. He has nothing to contribute to society other than spewing hatred - so here's your chance:

He called her a slut because of what she said about birth control. I didn't hear about the assault.
But I think most decent people know he's a dirtbag. Then again he's popualr. Maybe people like listening to someone who is a bigger dirtbag than they are. It reinforces their bs political pov, while simultaneously making them feel good about themselves for not being that big of a scumbag.

Fifteen years ago, My Father asked my opinion of Limbaugh. I am still blind to most political wranglings. But my original opinion of the talking head remains. He loves to hear himself speak. And so do his listeners. Isn't that what elects our leaders ? Oratory skills ?

You will not make a difference. Rush is free to call that girl a slut if he wants to. But, probably he should better have called her an idiot or a dimwit because slut seems unfair to women who may be sluts.
There is a double standard: guys who are able to screw anything that walks, e.g. Bill Clinton, JFK, Wilt Chamberlain, Tiger Woods, Teddy Kennedy, etc. are just considered a bit horny by many women.
So, calling a wild pig of a horny woman a slut seems very unfair. She is only doing what some women like to do.
But let's be real: most women given their own choice are simply not as horny and interested in sex as most men. A woman who publicly states otherwise is a bit unusual.
The point of course is that woman is an activist, who believes that WE should pay for her "right" to get free contraceptives. She particularly believes that a Catholic university should also provide free contraceptives to her, even though this place is against contraceptives in general, for some reason.
Boo hoo, women don't like being called names. Get used to it, they call men names all of the time.

Elliemae, don't you know that women are just supposed to be a receptacle for a man's generous reproductive fluids and as receptacles they must allow for the possibility of conception? That's why Viagra and Cialis are covered and birth control isn't. A man should be able to impregnate any female at any time even well into his dotage and a female must accept any consequences to his behavior. A woman has no choice.
Just ask any Roman Catholic Bishop. They don't want contraception but they do want men of any age to be able to get it up for the purposes of procreation. The sex act is only supposed to be for procreation. *wink* (That is unless you're a man, of course. You are allowed to confess.)
Men are, by design, sex pigs. We are held hostage by our hormones and we need women to be virtuous and demure to control our insatiable impulses. That's why married women in Jewish Orthodox communities and Islamic women can't show their hair or dare touch or be touched by a man (or even brush up against them by accident). Any slip up on a woman's part and a man could be led down the path of temptation and the resulting actions aren't his fault because he is a slave to his hormones. The woman is always at fault for allowing her feminine charms seduce an otherwise completely virtuous man. You must understand this.
A man who has sex with a whole bunch of women is just living out his biological imperative. A woman who has sex with a whole bunch of men is a no good dirty slut who might as well be a prostitute because she is forever impure. If she isn't already married and doesn't want accept the seed of procreation openly and completely she should be forced to scrape together the dollars necessary to reject a man's greatest gift ever to her. Of course, all women should be married to have sex at all because they must always be open to procreation on demand.
The thing is, where are these "studs" supposed to find women with whom to have sex in order to practice being "studs" and to carry out their biological imperative of Manifest Destiny if women are supposed to be demure, reserved, and submissive receptacles for the man's potent virile juices?
The answer, of course, is that you need to have a whole subculture of women who are less than human who you can bang for bucks or simply dismiss as no good sluts not worthy of mention. Or, you solve the issue by having a harem. In a harem at least every woman knows her proper place. Ask Mitt Romney about that solution.
Rush was simply exposing his own inadequacy as a man who needs chemical "help" in order to continue to carry out his biological imperative while affirming that any woman who doesn't want his or any other man's seed to create life within her should simply squeeze a quarter between her legs at all times. Any woman who releases that quarter is just a slut, whore, harlot, prostitute, sex crazed fiend, etc...
Of course we Gemorrans are above all of this and remain free of any taint that a woman could try to bestow on us. We are free to pursue our lustful freakishness as the "Studs" we are meant to be. Unless, of course, you believe the nonsense about all of us being Hell bound.
