If I know the address of a home, how can I figure out all the public information on it? Such as past sales data? Or Owners contact information?

What if I don't know the address, how can I find lot information, owner information?

lot/parcel numbers seems to be what the county goes off of, and what I can find is normally just an owners name.

I'm in San Bernardino County. here's the link to their site, you need to know a parcel number or name it seems. And they don't have sales data

Thanks

Try your county property record first (Google "XXXX County property record".) Then, zillow or trulia.com.

BTW, your county sucks that they do not provide address search on the webpage.

propertyshark.com has a limited number of free searches a day if you register your e-mail.

Other thing you can do is look up, "county tax assessment."

If that's not online, I think you can look up tax records by going physically to some county office. Guessing you might have to pay for copies of documents if you want them, but not sure.

yeah, I tried property shark and it didn't come up with anything that I didn't find on the county website.

If I go into the county recorders office, should that information be available? (sales records that is)
