Dictation on the new iPad

I was experimenting with the new iPad. Dictation works pretty well. However, forum posts shut down safari completely when I try to dictate on this forum. I haven't tried other forums. I was hoping I could talk posts into forums.

Wow. So you dictate something and speech recognition fills in the forum text box, but then Safari crashes?

I had not even heard that the iPad had speech recognition. Does it work well?

Try google chrome, or another browser.

Or if it's too buggy to handle it, dictate into word or some text file and then copy and paste it into the forum form. Still maybe better than typing the whole thing if the voice recognition is good.

The voice recognition is pretty decent on the iPad 3. The only issue I have seen is grammar. Basically, you could ramble out a few sentences and then only have to make some minor changes. If you type very fast, it may not prove benificial.

I'll try to check it at the Apple store. Long lines though.

They make special wipes to get that off electronic equipment. Be more careful with your porn next time.
