Serious.. since Indians seem to buy ALOT in gold as BOTH jewelry accessories and investments, it makes sense they would be prime targets in Cupertino... and that is extactly what happened a few years ago.
OK! your DVD, TV, Laptop got pinched.. get another...your not much of at target compared to them getting $30K...50K or more in gold jewelry.
What if you have ALL of your gold jewelry disappear due a burglary which also represents most of your investment and savings... and if you have that much, forced armed entry while your at home is really possible.
Rash of burglaries plague southern neighborhoods

Sunnyvale police have rejuvenated their search for a team of burglars they believe is responsible for ransacking at least 30 homes in the southern part of the city after learning the group struck again in neighboring Cupertino last week.
"It's the same group doing it; they just moved cities," Sunnyvale Det. Mark Sole said.
Police believe the group is responsible for approximately 60 home burglaries in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, Santa Clara and San Jose.
"It's a rash that's kind of bugging me," said Sgt. Mike Flood of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.
Flood said that two weeks ago a Cupertino home on Terrace Drive was pillaged for $50,000 in fine jewelry

Lets see about 2200 sq feet for $139,000. Do you charge extra for the 4 acres and mineral rights or is that free? I guess its about $ 63/ sq foot thats a little less than the $500/ sq ft. About 12.5% of it...1/8th. AND THIS WAS A FORECLOSURE---the seller probably ran out of their last extension of unemployment. A minimum wage job for one earner could qualify for this one. The PMI might be a hassle, but the guv-ment interest is about 3% even for those who walked away two years ago and are starting over to lose again in THIS BUBBLE.
