More buyers are seeking homes in 'shadow market' With inventory at historic lows, many Twin Cities house deals are happening behind the scenes, long before the properties hit the market.

I've been trying to figure this one out, but with limited success. There are a few REO, unlisted and vacant, that I am interested in. I know which banks own them. But it stops there. What next?

Wait for the first Mercedes to pull up into the driveway of the vacant homes and then go over and take the air out of the tires and put some sugar in the gas tanks. That is about all the access you get to these homes. Banks and Realtors are colluding in droves and the average investor is powerless.
