This is a very nice house that is worth about $1M. Unfortunately, they are demanding $3.195M, so it's overpriced by more than TWO MILLION DOLLARS.

Just do some simple math. Assume the whole thing would rent for $7,000/month:

Hmmm, it's a 7 BR, so if the VA system bought it and housed 7 veterans there, it would free up space at the Menlo Park VA. At least the money wouldn't be wasted. I wonder what the neighbors would say.
