In case you have not gotten the point yet, I will sum it up for you...
No one here cares about Glenn Beck. During his tenure at FOX "news" Beck did a very good job proving to the critical thinking world that he is not to be trusted. Based on cursory overviews of theBlaze he has given no one here any indication that he has turned over a new leaf. We don't have full time fact checking jobs. We are not going to watch hours of propaganda, taking copious notes, then spend even more hours researching each claim. We just... don't... care...
Don't worry though, I am sure that if his new vehicle becomes popular enough it will get the attention of fact checkers. Also, people will start posting his ridiculous claims here. Then you will get the fact-checking that you seek, and can summarily apply the same willful ignorance used while watching his show and ignore it.

The problem is all the people gleefully chewing on his tripe grinning broadly and nodding in agreement when he tells them that it is filet mignon... yeah, them... they all choose to remain willfully ignorant of fact. Regardless of all evidence to the contrary they are going to go to their deathbeds insisting that they were indeed eating filet mignon.
If it was possible to convince those people of Becks deceptions then maybe people would care more...

Around here we dance a lot around the single biggest reason that we as a species may be doomed.
And that is because people believe what they want to believe.
And worse than that - people with average to below average intelligence can convince themself of almost anything.
Since the fairness doctrine was done away with by Reagan, things have slowly gone further and further toward propaganda being an acceptable substitute for real critical analysis. Beck is just one especially obnoxious example of this.
But it is more than a little scary.

TV is made to get more people watching so that the CPM number is high and advertising time can be sold at a higher dollar value. It's a business. That's all. Pointing to any TV show, or personality as a representative of truth or lie is going to land you in areas of partial understanding(as if there's anything else), since the delivery of truth or lie is not the goal of TV.

Fun, I don't disagree with you. Part of the problem is some things ARE all or nothing:
NEVER put ANY amount of rat poison in food meant for human consumption.
Never put any amount of anti-freeze in liquids meant for human consumption.
Never allow any food stuffs to be contaminated with human or rat poop.
The problem is creeping socialism. The laws which liberals like to cram down everyone's COLLECTIVE throats which endorse socialism/communism unfortunately many times look good, or feel good or seem "fair". But the result is always negative. Its the road to tyranny.
Thats why its got to be "all or nothing" with creeping socialism. As for me I choose "nothing" (no support of socialistic/communistic laws, policies or procedures - nothing).

1. Glenn Beck never denied the accusations that he raped and murdered a girl in 1990.

2. Glenn Beck, after failing in the US courts, used an international court -- when he is supposed to be so opposed to international laws -- to try and silence the speculation as to why he is not denying that claim, and he failed in the international courts as well.

But, I am sure there are many millions of good people (mormons included) that have believed a lie, but will be covered by the blood of Christ through their heart's intent. Not only that, but he belongs to a church that characterizes your christianity as a false abomination, and you have been tricked by the devil. You will never reach the highest levels of glory in the afterlife, and never become a god (don't worry I am sure Romney and Beck will become gods of their own planets, and you can live in eternity vicariously through them).
Yes, this the "lie" that mormons, who are good people, believe. Sure the intent in their heart is good, but they actively try and convert christians to mormonism. For every $10 you give to Beck $1 goes to an effort to eliminate christianity as you believe it to be.
