$830K for an older house with weird ceilings on the inside. Another $500+ per sq foot Bay Area Property. You got more money then common sense? Then this is your house!

Tell me about it, it seems people have crazy money right now. And it doesn't help that "developers" are buying the cheaper properties that need work and doing them up to sell for over $1mil - I want just one house that needs doing up so I can afford to buy it - not possible to compete with the all cash buyers :-(

my realtor is asking me to wait, as per her, banks are holding back properties causing artificial scarcity.

Most bay area used house buyers are not unlike single cell organisms who look at only one thing - API scores.

And I wasn't talking about any shoe-shaped parameciums. Most of their single-cells are up their anal holes.

But wait. The realtard said that the house is "Freshly painted". I take back everything I said about bay area buyers being anal parameciums. This one amenity is a definite game-changer for me. A fresh coat of point, carefully applied by a paint engineer from the home depot parking lot, definitely makes this house worth every dollar of that $829K.

Friend of mine back in early-mid 90s bought his MV home for $170-190K.. 3/2 1500 sq ft. it was a pretty typical pre-tech pre-housing bubble period.
Again something like 3-4x median incomes.

$800K today.. like so many things .... its all hype!
