You have to love the most "liberal" area of the country is the one with the most brutal anti middle class disposition and the worst wealth disparity and the worst still extant red-lining. (Bad schools in redline areas and good schools in the sanctioned areas)

Tomorrow they'll want to force churches to accept them and mainline clergy to perform the services. The day after that they'll want it taught as "normal" to schoolchildren, and we've already seen that in California because Sac is controlled by the liberals and gays are increasingly influential in the Democratic party because they donate large sums of money to liberal causes. They seek to corrupt every single traditional values institution we have and it's based on anger. ALL OF IT. It's a disorder. I haven't heard of a situation where they've actually been successful in forcing Christian clergy to perform gay marriages against their will...yet. I know they're working on it. The Methodists and Episcopalians are already accepting gay clergy. The Methodists fought it and lost. The Episcopalians were always more liberal and have been doing it for awhile. The Episcopal church in America and the Anglicans in Canada and Church of England are all basically the same. At least one of the officiating clergymen at the last royal wedding was homosexual. Things are different over there. I heard somewhere that the next target was the Lutherans but knowing what I know about those people, I'd say it'll be a very long time before they succeed there. The WELS Lutherans I know here are some of the most politically and social conservative people I know anywhere. We got invited to one of their weddings over in Sacramento and it was like a scene from of Deliverance. *I* felt like the liberal and among those people I probably was. What's the difference between an Episcopalian and a Catholic? Fifty grand a year!

I was part of one of those conservative student newspapers in the eighties and we published something (can't remember what, it's been too many years) that stirred up one of the local queer activists on campus. I heard later on from someone in the dorms that he had made physical threats against me but it was a conservative school (still is today, in some ways even more so) and I had friends in high places so he agreed to go back into his hole and I agreed to quit beating him whenever his head popped up which it no longer did. Last I heard, he's a social worker somewhere in the midwest.
