She protects the bank from loose cannon employees who could destroy the bank with illegal activities. Any honest bank would be glad to have her.

They should require that JP Morgan pay Linda Almonte 10 times her previous salary and give her full access to all company documents, computers, computer accounts, and property. Her new job is to make sure that JP Morgan does not commit any more fraud and to report suspicious activities to the SEC and Department of Justice. This would be a win-win. Society wins by keeping the bank in check, which has just proven it can't keep itself in check. And the whistle-blower also wins by having job security doing something she's proven she's good at, uncovering fraud. Oh, and the salary for Almonte can come directly from the executive board, CEO, CFO, etc. Just garner their wages and stock sales.
