Well I guess John Stewart's crap stinks after all.

Delta has pulled their advertising dollars.

“I'm not going to censor myself to comfort your ignorance," Stewart said, decrying what he called the cable news-fueled “outrage machine.”

I just love it when these guys get full of them selves. He seems to forget how he came into that spot. Like the previous host thought he was immune to pissing off the wrath of the advertisers. And to be done in by Donahue, that would be poetic justice. I mean Rush or one of the other hardcore conservative watchdogs, would be too easy to write off and ignore. But you don't want the quaff of the Hue coming down on you.

You're asking me to explain why I would prefer a kick in the Balls over being sodomized with a broom handle.

Well I've had the broom handle already, lets mix things up.

See what I mean? You're going to cast a vote without being able to explain why you're doing it.

I'm very clear why I'm doing it. The Ryan bill, which has the full support of nearly every Republican in congress, will create an aristocracy totally free from taxation. Literally. Without the slightest bit of exaggeration or hyperbole.

    - Tax free dividends
    - Tax free interest
    - Tax free capital gains
    - Tax free inheritance

You want a literal nobility class in America? You want to piss on the founding fathers and revive the old English monarchy? You want a cop or a firefighter or a teacher or a construction worker to pay more taxes nominally (not percentage based) than Warren Buffett or Paris Hilton?

Vote Republican and maybe you'll get it.

Again, this isn't an exaggeration. With the rules under the Ryan plan, I'll never have to pay a penny of federal income tax ever again. Will you?

The difference in me and you, is YOU actually believe their crap.
You want me to vouch for what a politician is promising, or inject what I think they might or may not do. I'm just more pragmatic than that. I don't have a horse in the race, but I'm not allowed to sit home and not vote, or is it only counted as a wasted vote if I don't go out and vote Democrat? I just can't keep all of the hypocrisy straight.

I agree 110% here, but I think there may be a long game - privatization of just about everything. Right now there are as many "contractors" in Afghanistan as troops. The troops are coming home. The contractors?

Oh bullshit. This is brilliant white versus pitch black. Obama wins, and we get gridlock. The absolute worst that can happen is we get 2009 and 2010. A recovering stock market and a slow economic recovery. Oh the horrors!

If Romney wins, and manages to bring in both houses for the Republicans, we get the Ryan plan and you're totally fucked. The rich cronies you hate so much will be paying 0% on everything they earn and you'll be paying 22% for SSI & Medicare, 10% for income taxes, and 25% on anything over $100k in addition to any state taxes that will be piled on.

There is a clear, provable, radical difference between Democrats and Republicans in 2012 that has NOTHING TO DO with believing anyone's crap. If you want to bet that the sociopathic Republicans passed the Ryan bill as a joke and didn't really mean it, go ahead. I'll use the tax cut long enough to sell my homes, remove my remaining investments tax free, and get the hell out before the revolution starts.

At that point, the time it takes to remove the remaining capital from the bottom 90% will be measured in months instead of decades.

There has not been a distinction between them from 2008 to 2012, and just because you toss a conniption fit about it, doesn't make a clear distinction between them in 2012 for the election.

Obama's as well as the Democrat in Washington have tossed their lot in with the uber rich, sided with large corporations, considered corporation persons, chiseled and have eroded away at the basic fundamental rights and privacy, and have crapped on the constitution along with all of the Republicans neck and neck. Sure the Liberals are all for paying the poor peanuts, while destroying jobs, and are hell bent on driving up all commodity prices across the board and are satisfied to make the basic necessities a premium that even the middle class are finding harder to afford. Let alone those on the welfare and UE dole.

I talked about the Ryan plan, a budget bill that has already passed the house and is supported by most if not all Republicans in the Senate. How is this not a distinction between the two parties? It's one thing to have an opinion, it's another thing to completely ignore my post and refuse to talk about it. How are you not running away from the topic?

Yeah whatever. See how easy it is to afford anything when you're paying all the taxes while anyone who actually runs a corporation or inherits money doesn't pay a cent.

Oh and those commodity prices? Tax free profits baby!!! Speculation is going to get a major government subsidy now that capital gains taxes are being abolished.

But then there's no difference so why worry about it.

I'd be willing to bet not a single person complaining about the skit actually watched it.

80% of the country may claim to be christian, but 70% are pro-choice. *THAT* was the entire point of the skit.

Iwog at the end of the day, who signs this crap into law. Certainly not a republican president. It's ironic you guys always talk about other people playing the victim, when when you apply victim mentality to every rotten legislation that this administration passes. The Democrats are blameless, and every thing is still Bush fault.

That's another reason for me to cast my lot with Romney, I'll be cutting out the middle man. We can all just back to blaming the person in charge, instead of everyone else.

So a Republican president is going to refuse to sign the Republican budget bill into law? That's your argument? That's all you have to say about the Ryan plan? The ONLY plan being offered by the House?

I've never seen so much denial in my life. "Obama is bad for unspecified corruption that I can't name while a budget law that will destroy the country and has already passed the house doesn't matter at all."

    CaptainShuddup says

Yes everything is still Bush's fault in a government held hostage by the Republican party. Listing all the things that Democrats wanted to change but were blocked from doing so would take pages. Lets start with campaign finance reform. Corruption much?

Are you just scared to talk about the consequences of the Ryan plan passing or what?

Nothing you've ever mentioned in the history of this website approaches the outright abomination of the Ryan bill. You're about to get fucked. Your kids are about to get fucked. The whole country is about to get fucked, and you can't even talk about it.

You know that $100 million in stock options that some CEOs receive in lieu of a salary? You know, the one that generates capital gains when sold? Well guess what.......

You're going to help eliminate ALL TAXATION FROM THE TOP 1%, EVERY FUCKING LAST PENNY IF YOU'RE SUCCESSFUL PUTTING REPUBLICANS BACK IN POWER!

Talk about that or don't respond to this post. You've apparently decided that the Republican #1 agenda item (perhaps behind killing Obamacare) doesn't really exist. You've joined the ranks of the alternate reality folks.

Iwog I'm already dealing with plenty of consequences.
1400 a month in mandated insurance and not one single item to address the rising costs from administrators with impunity so investors that add "0%" quality to the health care can get their quarterly profits. Which will mean perpetual premium and healthcare costs inflation across the board.

THe lack of rights and privacy, the decline of labor laws in regard to what companies may or may not do or ask, age and weight discrimination but you better not express an opinion on Facebook or you will be fired and internationally ostracized.

The Vat tax via high Oil and gas prices, which this administration champions in hopes it will foster a dependence on a top heavy monetized green industry, that hasn't even passed QA.

Food costs in this country as the world is getting at a dangerous level, to the point countries are rioting because they are starving. This administration then spins those protest as democracy solidarity. The only thing people can afford is off the McDonald's $1 menu, and Mrs. Obama is running around the country criticizing them while the Liberals are imposing a sin tax on the only food most people can afford. All the while these people seem to think that people can afford to shop at Wholefoods, which BTW, all grocery stores may as well be wholefoods now, because the whole damn campaign she her self instigated placed a hefty premium on all foods edible that aren't under attack by the fat police. And this administration so blindly obliges the stores, corporate farmers, the delivery system the whole chain from the farm to the table. Has a long line of Wall Street commodity speculators gouging the price.

Explain to me again, who Ryan is, and why I should I care, and is he paying $7.00 for a baloney sandwich?

    Unfuckingbelievable.

For someone so pissed off at oil speculators, your ignorance that there's a bill in congress to make these transactions 100% tax free is stunning.

Why should you care? You shouldn't. You should just wait and reap the consequences of your actions. Regarding that baloney sandwich, pork and wheat speculation will become tax free as well. Nice work.

Is there content here you want me to address because I can't find it.

From where I sit, Obama has done plenty for working class people and if he wasn't blocked by your lovely Republicans he would have done a lot more.

    - raised minimum wage
    - cut employment taxes
    - nominated two Supreme Court justices that don't think corporations are people
    - signed into law the CFPB which you love and republicans are still trying to kill
    - removed 200,000 soldiers from Iraq and replaced them with 5000 contractors.
    - spent a trillion dollars on blue collar jobs
    - signed the credit card bill of rights
    - created the first transparent source for information on ethics and lobbying for the first time in history: https://explore.data.gov/ethics/

What's your list? Oh that's right, you don't have a list. All you want to do is bitch about non-specific corruption.

    raised minimum wage

Regan was the only president to have not done that

    iwog says

    - nominated two Supreme Court justices that don't think corporations are people

Apparently we'll have to wait until After the election to realize the consequence of that. I'm sure we have separate motives for the opposite outcome.

    iwog says

    - signed into law the CFPB which you love and republicans are still trying to kill

You're kidding me right? He signed into the law the CFPB, but he defused the bombs effectiveness by NOT appointing the only person capable of making a difference and a success out of that agency.

    iwog says

    - removed 200,000 soldiers from Iraq and replaced them with 5000 contractors.

Iwog every president does something, I just can't get excited about Iraq either way, I was the minority that was NOT yelling USA when we went over there in the first place. He made Haliburton more rich, well that just warms my heart.

    iwog says

    - spent a trillion dollars on blue collar jobs

See that's a problem right there, because that trillion dollars did jack squat to actually create jobs.

    iwog says

    - signed the credit card bill of rights

I suppose your credit is so great and you finances are so good, that you wouldn't know the ramifications of that bill if it smacked you in the head. The rights have never been more clouded and convoluted since Dod/Frank made a thorough mess of it.

    iwog says

    - created the first transparent source for information on ethics and lobbying for the first time in history

Well what good is that, sure we know who is lobbying now, but our hands are tied to actually do anything about the Dems and Repubs taking bribes and acting against the offices they serve.
This is all meaningless when he exiles people like Elizabeth Warren to Massachusetts. I know I know she'll do more as a senator, but she has to win first. She had a shot to make a real difference.

He failed so others can live! That's why every city in America has cut back on teachers, police, municipal workers, park workers, ect. Now if you told me the money was spent on traffic light cameras I would believe you, but stop selling that bullshit.

I know exactly where the money was spent. Every penny. The reason you don't is you're too lazy to find out. This website is yet another example of Obama "changing nothing":

Bingo. But his made up make believe version is so much more satisfying.

and you folks say I'm altering reality...

You can agree or disagree with people, but once you start injecting what you want them to mean, then you're really no different then what you are claiming they meant.

    pssffft revisionists...

Iwog again you are contradicting yourself.

The cut of taxes is with congress since the president cannot make the budget alone

raising minimum wage? Again congress and besides there's state ones that are largely larger than the national. You also have to remember that those that make minimum wage are large younger people and generally people make more as they age.

Supreme court is a joke of a claim since Sodamayer ( bad spelling I know) looks like she'll side against Obamacare and they might even hold up the AZ immigration law! She said she was liberal to get on the court but in reality she isn't.

CFPB is a joke. it is exempt from FOIA and all sunshine laws. It simply gave the federal reserve much more control in the economy.

A trillion dollars on blue jobs? What is that exactly these days?

Cash for clunkers didn't work, TARP didn't work, the bailouts didn't work (and no I don't support Bush in these either).

Why is it a few decades ago was consider "corporate welfare" on the left is now the norm of the democratic party?

It wasn't decades, that was the common moan of the liberals all through out Bush's administration.

At least the first guy pictured is non-partisan. So am I. Both major parties consist of bought and paid for slugs. No more voting for the slightly lesser of two evils for me...

And on abortions, 91% of Americans don't support them. I refer to Congress, of course.

On sodomy, I think adults should be able to do anything they want to do with their private parts in private and, when they do, it's none of my damned business.

On socialism, I think a certain degree of it is required for public infrastructure.

On the NWO, I suspect it's exactly the same as the OWO - very wealthy and powerful people buying politicians.

Obama and congressional Democrats were mostly unified throughout 2009.

How is this a contraction or an example of Obama not succeeding?

I thought that basically 100% of people don't support abortions. That is, everyone would like to minimize abortions. The issue of so called "choice" is independent of whether one likes abortion.

I have never heard of a pro-abortion advocate.
