Really? Misinformation is worse than no information? Whoda' thunk.

I could have told you this without performing a study. Some things are obvious. You don't need a scientific study to tell that teenage boys are horn dogs.

Fox News being misinformation is obvious, but it's interesting that MSNBC and CNN news viewer are barely more informed than no news watcher. Hardly seems worth spending the time watching the news if you get so little understanding in return.

The Daily Show may be comedy, but evidently it's way better than all other news sources except NPR (and probably PBS). So, you really can't say it's fake news. It's comedy about real news.

Maybe it's sad that some of the best coverage comes from a comedy show, but John Stewart and Steven Colbert have far more in depth analysis than the "serious" news regardless of the humor content.

Just proves a point I've said many times. Gravitas and humor are not mutually exclusive.

I should also disclose that I watch Real Time with Bill Maher, and despite being a comedian, he also provides much better coverage an analysis of the issues.

And although Bill Maher pisses off the right so much these days, it's only because the right is so wacked today. Back on Politically Correct in the 1990s, Bill used to piss of the left as much as the right because they gave him about equal material. It's not that the left has gotten any better; it's just that the right has gotten more crazy.

The best coverage comes from the one the Republicans want to crush. Wonder why?
