    Lots of these sales are from the GSE's or banks that are backed by the taxpayers. Bulk sales have steeply discounted prices and are made to politically connected hedgies and investors. It means a bigger loss for taxpayers, it removes inventory (holding up prices) and it only benefits the wealthy. This is one of the very few times the NAR has done something I agree with. They are doing it to benefit their members but it would also benefit ordinary people.

    I agree 100%. These packaged deals really irk me, for these exact reasons.

    Precisely what I was thinking. The NRA is evil, but this time they're the better of the two evils.
