Bulk sales have steeply discounted prices and are made to politically connected hedgies and investors. It means a bigger loss for taxpayers, it removes inventory (holding up prices) and it only benefits the wealthy. This is one of the very few times the NAR has done something I agree with. They are doing it to benefit their members but it would also benefit ordinary people.
