No one should ever say anything bad about the banks. We must always protect free enterprise no matter what it cost a single individual.

I'm voting both DEM & REP. McCain & Obama left the campaign trail to vote for TBTF. That saved the economy of the entire UNIVERSE.

Patrick, the root of the problem is that no country in the world operates with a sound currency, they all have fiat currency's.

If you remember American History, after he Civil War, all states printed their own currency. There was no uniform standard "value". It was chaos. Kinda like whats happening now with virtually every country printing its own currency, but no uniform standard.

Each country can devalue its currency to gain an unfair business advantage over all other countries. What we have now is a race to the bottom, in order to be competitive. Its a lose-lose situation.

We need leaders with integrity, who will make the hard, unpopular, necessary decisions to put our country back on the path of prosperity. This as opposed to the road to serfdom which we are currently on.

Yes, I think one reason no country uses gold or silver as currency anymore is that they want that devaluation power over other countries. Makes exports cheaper, until the other country does it too.

And they want the power to confiscate savings from their own people via the printing press.

Leaders proposing unpopular policies don't get elected though.
