I'm flying from SFO to ATL next month and Delta has GoGo onboard. Wonder if anyone has used them before while flying to 30,000 feet?

I have used it. I fly only Delta these days. In the early days GoGo was nifty.
However it's generally too congested these days to be usable.
My suspicion is that on every flight, there's some doofus who left open their P2P filesharing app. And another doofus who just HAS to try NetFlix. It's a narrow satellite pipe that is easily swamped if a bunch of people try to do more than check email and browse web sites.
I much prefer these days to just bring a book, or if I'm using an electronic device it's with local data.
Delta SkyClubs at ATL are good if you have access or can tailgate in as guest of a member, although they can be crowded.
Check out "One Flew South" in Concourse E if you have time for a fine meal. Cafe Intermezzo in B is another good choice. I like to have a decent meal before leaving the airport so I can then go to my destination by MARTA without further hunting around.
Another tip, I like to skip the train when walking out for the exercise, and there are a few art exhibits along the walkway. Photo exhibits, plus between A & T there's some very nice sculptures. My favorite is Nzuzu:

I've never been that keen on these Club's that the airlines run. I had a couple of free passes for United Red Carpet here at SFO. It was OK I guess. Nothing I'd pay money for. I'm going first class to ATL. Maybe I can get a free pass.
GoGo, per their web site, uses 3G cell sites on the ground to work with the airborne Wi-Fi. I got a discounted price, so I'll give it a try. Can't be away from patrick.net for too long. LOL.
I'll check out the art. Don't have much time at ATL however. I'm driving to Augusta. About a three hour drive from Atlanta per Goggle.
I'll make a few postings on patrick.net from the plane. After all, got to keep tabs on these Realtards.

SkyClubs aren't royal treatment, but they beat a busy food court any day and the bathrooms are cleaner. I like SkyClubs when I'm travelling with family typically better elevated view of the airplanes that keeps Little Vicente mesmerized. I don't think access is included with FC tickets though unless you are flying international. Anyhow, enjoy the humidity and watch out for

I use GoGo on Delta. Its a life-saver when I'm bored out of my skull on long flights back home. Not bad for emails and chat programs, just don't do anything that is data-intensive.

Yes I miss the Awful Waffle too, dunno why there's nothing like it on the West Coast.
Here's a couple of my favorites:

Maybe I should get out of the computer business and open up a chain of Waffle Houses here on the left coast. Put unemployed Realtors to work making waffles.
We would also eat at the Huddle House on post at Fort Gordon, GA. Not as good as WF, IMHO.
