Wisconsin voters are reporting receiving robocalls that claim voters who signed recall petitions or voted to recall Governor Scott Walker are not required to vote again tomorrow, June 5th. This is incorrect information.

Who is this supposed to help??? Makes no sense to me except maybe Democrats want to use this as an excuse when they lose.

Well they don't have to show up to vote, the media is voting for them.
Tell them to stay home and relax. The Heat game will be on.

WOP I see the serial disliker is hard at work. I don't even think he takes time to read posts. Should we start serial liking and mass disliking as well. Or is that a Patlib privilege?

If the homeowner isn't insulted by your offer...you didn't bid low enough!!!

Ha ha, yes, dirty immoral tricks intended to influence voters are clearly the work of democrats who see the obvious benefit of not having people vote in the recall election.

To a large degree, the demise of unions is largely related to the growing gap betweem the haves and have nots. While the issue in WI is about the public sector, the true damage has been done due to the fact that in private sector, the union representation is under 10% I believe. What this has done is clearly lessened the leverage of employees and transfered the bargaining power to employers. Hence, you have lowering of wages, reduction of benefits and other shenanigans such as giving people the most hours possible without making them "full time" so that they are not eligible for benefits such as paid vacation time, medical, etc. If we can somehow increase union representation to the 25%-33% range, it would help our society a lot and recussitate the middle class. However, it is unlikely to happen, as there are too many political gangbanger fundemantalists out there who have lost all touch with reality, so we are gonna slowly but surely start to slide into a 3rd world like social structure.

It is unlikely to happen because high union labor costs has already chased most blue-collar labor type jobs overseas.

Why did GM implode? Because over half their of their annual costs were going to pay retired employees' pensions and benefits for LIFE. Worse, many of these GM employees got to retire in their early 50's.

    How does this math work...........ever?

I cant wait until over half the cops are retired pensioners. Cannibal Anarchy!!!!

there will only be enough cops to go after high dollar traffic fines especially DUI(huge $ maker to pay the pensioners). All other crime such as theft you will have to file a report online.
