First, everyone is supposed to believe that Realtor®s are some kind of profession, one that is governed by an incorruptible code of ethics.

But when yet another dozen of these guys is sentenced for multi-million dollar fraud schemes, they shrug, blame the victim and cackle diabolically, 'Stupid fucks! The client had it coming to them if they didn't assume they were being lied to. Hahahahahahaha! Stupid assholes.'

Finally, anyone who doesn't use them for every transaction is stupid, even though the record tells us that to be near a Realtor® is to be exposed to a very clear, present and proven danger that you are about to be defrauded.

Realtors do have bosses - unless they become brokers. But the premise of their "profession" is to get someone to pay as much as possible for a house in order for them to get a comission. They get $ for sticking a sign in the ground. Banks lend money (and sometimes shouldn't), and lawyers or title companies complete title searches. They get paid based on real work that they do, and make the same regardless of the amount of the sale. Realtors have no incentive to get a good price or to honestly represent the property. They don't even give a shit as to whether the place meets the buyers needs - all they care about is talking the poor sucker into buying something they might not want and probably can't afford.
