Human rights issue, female soldiers punished for reporting rape

In a shocking pattern of behavior, our military has punished and even trumped up military charges of misconduct against female soldiers who were rape victims for reporting the rapes.

The relevant portion is of the following video is just one minute long, from 08:00 to 09:00.

Somehow I suspect that the "social conservatives" will have a problem with this clip exposing the crimes and will seek to blame the victims or those who tell their stories. I would appeal to the better natures of those conservatives to realize that this should not in any way be a left-right issue, but a human rights issue. It is utterly inexcusable to persecute rape victims for reporting the crime committed against them.

Blaming these women is ridiculous. If you think about the number of men and women in the military, any less than 50 rapes would be statistically weird, so it is not surprising that these women were raped. Like I said, they are attracted to those types, looks to me like many women have no problem with it. You hear even less about women being raped by their husbands. Hmmm...you really don't know how courtship and dating work at all? You ever head the phrase, "I chased her until she caught me"? I am by no means a ladies-man or "player", but in my day (you and I are close in age) I did OK for myself. One thing that I know for sure is you can't wait for a woman to pursue you (I can count on one hand the times that a woman has directly "hit on" me). That said, yes the woman has to take an interest in you. That said, the Red Cross does not prohibit blood donations from people who are in the military, but they do prohibit donations if someone has been in prison for more than 72 hours over the past 12 months. I guess they figure after 72 hours there is a pretty good chance that someone has participated in some sort of unprotected forced sex.
