Amid the bustle of President Obama’s surprise stop for barbecue Wednesday the White House apparently overlooked one key detail: the bill.
Celebrating Father’s Day early, the president had lunch with two service members and two local barbers at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill.
As the group chatted about fatherhood, the president enjoyed a steaming plate of pork ribs with hot sauce, collard greens, red beans and rice and cornbread.
The bill for the president and his four guests was $55.58, but was left unpaid at the point of sale, according to pool reports.
The White House corrected the oversight and settled up the tab by the end of the business day.

How do you miss Obama and his entourage leaving the establishment?
I mean it's not like the Scholtski's who sends the wife out to the car to get it started while Joe goes to the mens room then casually walks out the door afterwards.
I mean come on the manager should have grown a pair, I don't care who it is. I would have been like...
"HEY!!! Cash or the dishes your choice buddy?" with one hand on my nickle platted greeter under the counter.
Though truth be told, I would secretly hope he does the dishes, I would Youtube that shit.

You know.... perhaps a better idea would be instead of wasting time by trying to make some sort of lame point by putting every single tiny little thing Obama does under a microscope, perhaps it'd be better to focus on the candidate I assume you guys want to vote for- Romney right? I mean- if you folks are so damned sure that Obama isn't the right President to vote for then I'd hope you would know every tiny little thing that Romney does right and wrong?
