Are you really concerned about the possibility of America adopting Sharia Law? Or was this simply in jest? If you are concerned, which country's interpretation of Sharia do you fear will be implemented here? Or do you think an "Americanized" version will take shape? Forgive me, but to me the idea that Sharia would take root in America, is nothing but fear mongering to motivate a gullable section of the population. Fear is a powerful motivator and usually people acting on it are WRONG. Sharia law is not threatening the US at all. The modern world is threatening to, and in some cases actually managing to, redefine Sharia practices in many countries. Women's rights issues will tip Sharia on its head. Unavoidable. There are some very smart and educated women now in modern Muslim countries. That is conservative Sharia interpretation's death knell. Just a matter of time now.
