Because everything I post, regardless of content, is trolled to 3 dislikes instantly and removed from the board.

Obviously this message is partially for Patrick, but far more importantly what does that say about housing bears? People who say Realtors are spreading misinformation? People who claim they only want to get the truth out yet try to squelch any other opinions like spoiled little children?

One dimensional boards die a quick death. I have no doubt Patrick will fix this, but I think the hypocrites who are abusing the system should take a good look in the mirror.

Everything you say to one group is televised to all other groups. Makes it a lot harder to be a two-faced politician.

I though at first Patrick had banned me, but now I think it is a troll with several computers and accounts... That could be it too. I think unique IPs should be recorded to make it a little harder for someone with 10 computers to control the flow of the forum by simply disliking everyones posts.

Hopefully not here in Amish country to speculate on any of our beautiful farm land! SE PA has seen a pace of developement and sprawl that most people could never imagine (over the last 15ish years). It hiccuped for a bit with the 08 crash, but they're back at it. Some mega corp with a jewey lawyer type name has bought up most of the rental complexes, so someone else saw prospect for some nice rent capture here over the last years.

The $0 homes and high crime areas are isolated while the surrounding suburbs are doing quite well. Not what expected at all. Flint however is another story. I'm going to drive up there today but from what I've heard from the locals, it's very bad.

Nice truism. Yes, everyone has gone to bat for Iwog, except the people who didn't go to bat for Iwog. Gotta love the reasoning: Everyone who agrees with me is genuine, but everyone who disagrees with me is a troll or an alternate identity. I don't get how anyone defends the guy at all. I think it's just high post count syndrome. I notice that on most message boards, the person who posts the most seems to get a few followers, no matter how full of it they are. Iwog never has anything original to say; it's just the same permabull nonsense over and over, once in awhile selectively posting a chart or graph, but only the ones that seem bullish to him in any way. Or if he's not doing that, he's bragging about how rich he is. That in itself would be annoying, but not a big deal. The problem is that he acts like a prick to anyone who disagrees with his nonsense. If Patrick were really enforcing the "don't insult other users" rule, Iwog would have been out years ago.

Sometimes that gets him in trouble, like when some Redfin charts only looked bullish because of a data error - LOL. Iwog will claim Case/Shiller is nonsense, then happily post Case/Shiller data the next week if it looks bullish. Ditto for median prices. Flipping a coin would be a better market predictor than Iwog. The only difference I recognize between Iwog and the permabear trolls is that he is a bull and they are bears.

Yes, Michigan is very split. Nothing ever goes right in Detroit, but the rest of the state is doing fine. As far as I understand, the suburbs of Detroit are fine (just don't go to certain areas in Detroit City.) As for Ann Arbar, it's about the most expensive small town (small but not tiny) in midwest.
