False, I would pay 1M for a 3/3 what appears to be a Diamond Heights home facing the bay. The first thing I would do is to replace the windows with top down.
The $1M is a pass thru cost anyway so the real cost is just the increment of the property tax, interest anyway. Homes like these will always have more demand than supply by a long mile, regardless of the state of the economy. It is especially appealing since the cost does not come with 1K bucks monthly HOA like you would in a 40 story luxory condo.

The views worth a million are from Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, etc.
