Is that so hard to say ? Great tutorials Dan. I truly luv em. The instructors sound adamant though. Kinda like the Christian church a few hunert years ago. Why is it not even considered that a buncha "bangs" could have been happening throughout eternity ? Big , little, medium bangs are happening all the time. They are called novas & super nova's. One educator states, "Everything in the Cosmos is expanding away from everything", as if there were NO CENTER, While our first mpeg tells us there IS a center, 13.7 billion miles from the cosmic microwave background. OH SNAP ! THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE WE ARE. AHHHHH ! That means the entire COSMOS rotates around US, AAAAND that would mean THIS IS where "THE BIG BANG BANGED" ! Didn't the Myans predict the end of the world (this year) based on this same introverted principle ? All that crap about nothing (not even light) escapes a black hole. Then we find reletivistic jets spewing from many black holes. One study shows a "river" of galaxies flowing in one direction against the grain of the microwave background, as if there were some magnetic attraction beyond that veil. We often here how the Sombrero galaxie will collide with another ? Why aren't those galaxies moving away from each other ? One more querie for the night, please; Is the maximum capability of the radio telescope measuring the cosmos maxed out at 13.7 billion miles ? Either by mans engineering limits or signals just beyond that measure being diverted, or just attracted to an adjoining or even attached universe. We may be frog eggs ! Hopefully Caviar ! Me thinks the science community could not take the weight by stating "Singularity Smingularity"! They don't KNOW! They should state "We are espousing these fantasy born ideas hoping to sell books"! Einstein did, that Hawking dude is runningamuck. How long before we prove life exists on one or more of jupiter's moons ? Might that discovery cause certain religious zealots to aks "who wrote these teachings"? Might life on other planets/galaxies/Universes have been included in somebody's scripture ?

So if you are on an ocean and can see out to the horizon but no further do you assume you are at the center of the ocean? Its no the jets you need to worry about, those are generated by stuff as it falls into the hole but before it hits the event horizon. Yes for the same reason the dust that came together to form the planet we call Earth did. The cloud was dense enough for the gravity to overcome the escape velocity and coalesce.
