Or should I say what has Obama temporarily done for you lately?
President Barack Obama is expected to call on Congress to pass a one-year extension on the Bush-era tax cuts for people earning less than $250,000 a year.
Does this guy do anything for the long haul? Then other things he does that's supposed to be his Opining for greatness, he keeps the stench of the backlash that he knows those shit storms will create. As far away from his term, to not interfere with his chances of getting reelected. Why can't he just do things and live up to it. When people are thirsty give them water now, and if you are going to give them water, don't put a timed meter on the spigot.
Disingenuous Bastard, and what ever in the hell else you want to call him.

I don't understand the marriage penalty. It's 250,000 per family, meaning family or individual. Shouldn't it be 250,000/500,000 or 125,000/250,000 if he really wants to not penalize marriage?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

He's done a lot considering Republicans from the very first day have absolutely refused to participate or cooperate with his administration on any level regardless of the subject at hand, even if they were items they agreed upon in the previous administration. Thus the question should really be why have Republicans done nothing for you?

I thought we established that he is ineffective long ago?
If having debating skills and the political prowess to get your agendas done were easy, then what would we need elected officials for?

again- he's gotten a lot done including many of his benchmark agenda pieces- all without ANY support from the Republican party. I would say that qualifies as quite successful...

Sure it was, every day you Liberals reinforce how Obama can't get anything done, and it's everyone else's fault but the guy we elected to get things done. I live in the real world, when my work is effected by others, and I can't produce. It will ultimately be me that gets the chopping block.
No company will continue to pay me, if I can't can't get things done, especially if it's because I don't work well with my coworkers.

Oh you mean that thing that more than 68% of the American population across the political spectrum wants it repealed, redone, replaced?
And besides you just proved my point.
Immigration: A temporary reprieve from deporting of illegals going to school, no Citizenship, no permanent fix, these people are on borrowed time until the next administration gives them their marching papers. They are mired in more uncertainty. The only thing it did, was took their very public vocal gripe off the table so it wont soil his reelection bid. And he hopes to sway the Latin vote with his sloppy attempt to pander for their votes.
Healthcare: He knows how disastrous it is and will be. It was a lie sold to the American people and was fraudulently presented to Congress to vote on as a mandate when it's a tax. If he were proud of his efforts, then whey didn't they implement it starting immediately? Roosevelt didn't wait to implement the "New Deal".

I didn't even bother reading your responses. Again- he'd gotten a hell of a lot done considering the other party refused to cooperate at all.
I've already wasted my time even responding to this.

Typical, that's how your party operates they don't read anything, they just expect to ram things through, then pitch a fit when people wont oblige them, like a milk-teet baby.
" I guess we'll have to pass it to discover it's an unconstitutional tax... tee hee hee"

This is one of his well-calculated tactics to win the election. If it passes the congress (not likely, but in case), he got the credit. The big population would thank him for get the tax cut. If it is blocked by the congress (likely), he would blame the GOP so he can rally support.
Chairman Mao once said, "the class struggle is the best weapon to gain the power, and the best weapon to hold the power." Obama is certainly a good student of Mao. If anyone still remember what's hanging on the Christmas tree in the White House.

All I can say is that I can sit back and just let history do its work: Science and progress tend to march on and as history has shown, this will continue. I need not even say more.

Wasn't this called "Kicking the can" when the pundits, and talking news heads, actually gave a fuck who they backed?

Actually, the american people are consistently for ALL of the principles of Obama care when asked about them individually.
that 68% oppose it is a great testimony to the brainwashing the antiamerican GOP has done to paint it a something it isn't... people like you, who take the faux news talking points verbatim without actually studying the issues, that is...
The republicants will block this bill because, 1. Obama is for it, and 2. it doesn't cut taxes to the uber-rich, the only people they truly care about...

You can check political promise records and do fun fact checking about typical rhetoric here:

If you are one of those types who just knows it is "such and such" because you've made up your mind, feel free to disregard all of the above. Your morality, purity, and loyalty (to whatever you claim loyalty to) should carry you safely over uncomfortable truths.

To what end?
Didn't the Brits have to bust Barclay's for setting interest rates to billions in their favor at the expense of small businesses and retirement accounts around the world, who claims they aren't the only one?
Isn't our Government on this side of the pond quite mum about it?
Hey I formed the winning-est NFL football team. Trust me!

Let me see if I understand, the democrats via Barney Frankenstein, Dirty Harry Reid, Jimmy Carter and William B.J. Clinton financially screw up the country and the solution is to establish the "Consumer Fianacial Protection Bureau"...to look out for the intereste of everyday Americans, ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
Seriously, if you believe that you'll believe anything. Are you libs insane???
How can you tell when a politician is lying? (Hint - when their lips are moving).
B.J. Clinton: I did NOT have sex with that women !!!!
HiLIARy Clinton: They had us pinned down with gunfire at the airport!!!
President B.O. - its NOT a tax !!!
Why is it that sociopaths are attracted to politics ???
