I rather deal with amoral capitalists than self righteous moralists. People have done far more harm "doing good" than "being greedy". (Note the quotation marks.)
The elites can become ideal "reformers" if the society is willing to remove moral hazards. That is the only way for human nature to work for us. Greed is good. But capitalism without failure is just socialism for the rich.
Meritocracy is incorruptible. Misguided "morality" is fragile.
