    HRHMedia says

and yet utilities, consumables, staples and disposables are up up up

Well, the title is cost of home ownership. Utilities, consumables, staples and disposables aren't home ownership costs.

Wow, could not tell, for investors who know how to work the system, I'm sure it is. Flippers are out in full force in my area, always finding a deal to work.

    HRHMedia says

    Mortgage PMI has tripled.

That's why I laugh at the dropping interest rates, even if interest was at 2%, I would still pay a $100 more a month than when I bought at 4.50%.

    HRHMedia says

lol, if you live on a island?
and also I'm sure property tax rates have gone down! NOT!
    and PMI has TRIPPLED!

PMI is a cost of homeownership, but the others are a cost of living, not a cost of homeownership

Yeah well home owner insurance is insanely out of control the last 7 years. Citizens the "Single Payer" monopoly in Florida, just raised my property ins a little over $300 a year.

US debt is just a cash flow. Also printing will have to resume as the world puts dollars under it's mattresses.

Some countries might be smart enough to not issue debt.
