I like Bill Moyers, but the man is just far too calm. You could kill his whole family and he would still fail to rile up anyone to do anything about it.

    Yup. No big surprise there.

It would have a chilling effect on free speech because then contributors could be targeted for harassment by the IRS & Labor Department on Obama's orders, which has already happened with known Romney contributors.

    Obey The Tripods

That would be the same contributor (Frank Vandersloop) who is co chairman of Romneys campaign finance in 2008 and 2012?

Seems that Mr. Vandersloop knows more than a little about targets of harassment, since he has initiated so much harassment litigation of his own. He has also had multiple legal problems with his business.

No matter what strassel says in the wsj, no one gets irs and dept of labor audits in a month even if the president were to order it personally. Vandersloop may be the target of the Democratic party, but it's because he's a big time player in the national political scene with a long history of playing hardball. Not because some web site says he contributed to Romney's campaign. That's just bullshit.

    Try again.

Well I sure wish they would start spending all of this money they supposedly already have. This is more a story about a fraud and a scam on a scale in which America has ever seen.
Sure they can raise a but load of money, but are they really spending it?

He has also had multiple legal problems with his business.

Yeah, those problems are called "being a supporter of Romney and being damn good at raising money for Romney"

Melalecuca made settlements with Michigan, Idaho, and the FDA long before he became involved with Romney. Look up melaleuca on the FDA website 1997. Facts don't concern you much do they?

    Nice misdirection.

Now make an effort to focus and address my point. Vandersloop has a major active involvement in the Republican party and both Romney campaigns. IF, big IF, he is being targeted for political reasons (which I don't know and neither do you) it wasn't because he was identified as a as someone who simply contributed to a republican campaign. It's because he has been a very outspoken and aggressive political player for a long time who has made lots of enemies.

So your assertion vandersloop is the poster boy for what would happen if people making huge contributions in secret were actually made public is pure bullshit. He's a big boy playing hardball in the political arena, not an innocent person who just happened to write a check to someone's campaign.

    Try again.

It's a sad day when corporations and rich people have a greater right to privacy regarding brides to government officials than the rest of us have regarding our own bodies and the TSA.

Actually, it is a sad day that we have TSA groping and people wanting to pry into corporations for their own, selfish purposes.
