    Ruki says

The "We're not communist!" Left never gets that.

American style capitalism with lobbyists and corporations writing the laws and tax code is no different than communism for all practical purposes. Both extremes wrap around and connect like a strip of paper forming a ring.

    >Not true. They USUALLY win unless things get so bad that they end up before the firing squad like in Russia in 1917, China in 1949 and Cuba, South Vietnam, Nicaragua, etc.

Basically I agree here. If you push the people to an extreme inequality, you may just lose it all (including your life) ... Oh well.

From the story: “It’s not small business owners that are paying the [estate] tax,” Graetz said. “It’s small business owners that are making the tax so difficult to impose.”

Actually, it's the group representing small business owners that's making it difficult to impose the estate tax. The vast majority of small business owners won't be subject to the estate tax. Small business owners are concerned with bringing customers in the door, paying for health care for their employees, and finding educated workers. It's the big guys behind the NFIB who are fighting the estate tax battle. Ranchers and farmers paying the estate tax? Come on, it's the wealthiest of the wealthy.

And the dems look like a bunch of fools on this one. If you look close, you can see the dollar bills hanging out of their pockets...
