Romney will release his taxes 2 weeks out from the elections....and unleash his 2/1 spending advantage, which will drown out anything the dems can dig up in the returns..... This is why you want Romney in the white house. Make use of this skill set (planning to win, at any cost) against Russia/China/Iran....the only caveat is that you must become a victim of it before you get to use it against our competitors/enemies. Releasing damaging info two weeks before the election would be insane, that is when most people are paying attention. The dems can put out good ads in 1 or 2 days. Unfortunately for your "strategy" all the air time in swing states has pretty much already been bought up. Plus the general news media would provide a lot of unpaid attention to this story. Obama will have enough money to compete. The problem for the Romney is they are trying to re-define a man who has been in the public eye for over 4 years. Pretty much everybody has made up their mind about Obama, it is Romney that is being defined by the Dems and not to his advantage. They can run negative ads against Obama from here to eternity and it will not much affect peoples opinion of Obama. It may gin up the republican base some, they are pretty hot to vote against Obama already but not very enthusiastic to vote for Romney I will bet you $10,000 :-) he will not release any significant number of additional years of returns and likely none I think you might have a mild case PTSD from all your comments on this thread. Why not just stand up and say "f you all, lefties, here are my tax returns, I made millions and you didn't and I figured out the best and smartest ways to save as much of it as I could, all perfectly legally, so f you. His foreign policy team is made up of GW Bush people who were responsible for one of the biggest foreign policy disasters in the nations history (Iraq war). Personally I would like to avoid war with Iran and while Obama may well take us there Romney and his crew would be more likely to do so.

I'm pretty sure that the reason why I don't grimace when Obama talks has little to do with the fact that he's "on my team." But to me Obama is even more likeable than Reagan, because it at least seems like he writes more of his own speeches. I find his intelligence comforting.
