Fuck you all. Mitt is the heart and soul of America. He'll be elected president and sell off parts of the country, population and all, to the Saudis, and eliminate taxes for anyone making a million or more per year. You'll wake up one morning and a mullah will be raping your pet dog and sentencing your wife to death and President Romney will be on TV announcing that your state is redundant and you and your family are now subjects of 8th century islamic law and announce his horse is being appointed to the senate.

Who cares what Harry Reid said. Talk about a stupid issue. People have been asking for Romney's tax records for months and he refuses to release them.
All this does is keep this thing on the front page and keep people asking "what is Romney hiding?"
Obama is going to win easily in November.

this situation is awesome. in order for romney to do anything to reid he'd have to take him to court...and in court his tax returns would have to be brought forward as evidence. even if the tax returns are sealed the outcome of the trial would provide evidence as to the truthiness of reid's claims.
if reid is telling the truth he wins.
if reid is lying he still wins because romney would end up with a serious image issue for not releasing his taxes. makes him look even more suspicious.

Me and Dad and Grands' offshore estate amounts to tens of billions that is growing tax-free because we fucking won and you people are fucking doomed. However if you think Swiss and Cayman bank accounts combined with at least once source claiming he didn't pay taxes AND a 401k plan that appears to be millions of dollars over allowable limits doesn't warrant questions............then you're blind and too biased to be of any use in this thread.
Do you even care? What if Romney did pocket 100s of millions without paying a dime in taxes? Are you such a fucking party worshiper that you'll give him a pass? And you have the nerve to claim partisanship..........

Mittens being a con man goes far beyond just his tax dodging strategies. But it's a part of it.
I realize that Richie Rich likes the benefits of living in America without paying taxes, but they ought not be allowed to feel RIGHTEOUS about it. I can stomach that I suppose, but it doesn't wash to let these same money-grubbing psychopaths run the country and decide policies that will further benefit the 1% at the expense of everyone else.

ignorance run amok. the IRS would only look into illegal tax avoidance, while romney has more than likely used legal but sleazy trick to avoid paying... It is ironic for someone running on a platform of cutting taxes to avoid showing their own tax situation... a point lost on some very non critical thinkers on this blog.

Lol, let Romney sue for slander. The taxes would be revealed. Go ahead, give Romney the advice. Then when the trial comes and he refuses to reveal his taxes he will go down farther in the polls. This is a political issue, not a legal issue. Romney needs to do what presidential candidates do.
It is absurd for Romney to say put up or shut up when he has the proof. Are you guys all from Mars? Is there no logic on Mars or common sense?

Romney is an inherently absurd nominee, the worst possible candidate to challenge Obamneycare. His tax problems and the rest of his story merely add to the joke. He campaigned in Massachusetts promising he would be an even stronger advocate for gay rights than Ted Kennedy, but now campaigns claiming to have governed as a "severe conservative." Then we find out that at 18, while others his age were risking their own lives fighting for people who couldn't fight for themselves, Romney was organizing his fellow students to bully people, including a hate crime on a younger kid who happened to be gay, and making fun of a blind teacher by misleading him into walking into a closed door. Then he says on mic that he "likes being able to fire people," so he's now the full grown corporate version of the bully he used to be. At least he gives a live example of the Republicans' claim of voter fraud, since he claimed to live in his son's unfinished basement so he could vote in Massachusetts. Romney is a slapstick candidate, with his magic underwear and shape-shifting CV, but he would be a terrifying President.

The same IRS that is under the Department of the Treasury, which is directly under the control of the president, Obama...

1- The investigation is needed to determine if the information is credible. That's what investigations are for.
2- If Romney never paid any taxes, then harry needs to have his source vetted to eliminate internal corruption in the IRS..ie..employees leaking private tax information.
I can understand why you would not consider the above if you were a proponent of crime.
