WatchNorth Carolina has never been known to be a paragon of science or intelligence or common sense but this is simply crazy. I think a few Senator's should restrict or make these areas ineligible to receive Federal Disaster relief funds and other assistance to these future flood plain areas.
Of course, all of the folks who preach against the government and science and common sense will all have their hands and wheelbarrows extended waiting for cash and help when they find their homes and businesses underwater.
