Very depressing - future is not bright. Many more storms lies ahead.

Well, having been through the dotcom boom and bust, the housing boom and bust and several other booms and busts-me thinks nobody knows what lies ahead!! It does look bad though-with an army of workers in China and India willing to do our jobs at a fraction of the costs-but who knows.

To make it simple - our standard of living goes down to match with China and India.

    Heartaches by the Number: Just 14% Think Today’s Children Will Be Better Off Than Their Parents;

If you grew up Middle class, how much better off do you really need to be?

I had no fucking idea that being a child was a contest I am supposed to win. How do you quantify "Better Off"? Is it all about money? Having money in a Souless greedy world, whoopty freaking dew!

I would take a lower middle class in a late 70's society over upper middle class in today's society.

If what I'm talking about could be currency, then my Grandparents were billionaires. And there's not a resident in the Fortress that could top them.

But really who worries about this shit?

I could let poor people slide given their situation and all, but if they are sufing on the internet reading this post, then they really are probably better off than their parents were "Financially" if perhaps not spiritually.

We're just running out of the loot and prestige from WWII. Let's see who we save this time.

Until we get back to the mind-set of pre-1975 and get back on the Gold standard, and cut this oil shite, libtard shite, and vast tech/social media mind control it will only get worse.

To get back to the gold standard they're going to have to make personal possession of gold illegal again. Would you be OK with that?

I keep saying the same thing...give yourself a pay cut, buy anything not made in the United States, actually it is give your neighbor a pay cut, or a layoff. Or Hungry? Out of work?
Eat your rice burner! I realize it is pointless to pay more for products, unless everyone does here in the U.S. It is an inevitable conclusion that we will be just as poor as the assemblers of China if we keep buying foreign goods, including oil. That's because the money goes out, and doesn't come back...to private industry...instead it goes back to the Fed to buy bonds... to a point

This is the reality: only 10% of what is going on needs to go on to keep everyone alive. The rest is crap. The world would be a much better place if 90% of us just stayed home, improved our minds and relationships, and grew a garden. How do we get there from here? Think about it.

economic policies take MUCH LONGER THAN 4 years... The inflation caused by the vietnam war hangover lasted nearly 10 years after the policies that caused it...

we get it, you don't like Obama. But you are kind of stupid yourself, to say a harvard law grad, and law professor had a background that needed more checking... "i've doubled the deficit" makes you either a liar or brainwashed by fox, and actually probably too dumb to undestand what I am saying... Two unfunded wars, and a huge financial crash doubled the deficit, together with bush tax cuts for the rich...

and you are so stupid, you want the same policies that caused the crash? more tax cuts for the rich, and less govt regulation, cause you know, banks today can be trusted and so can oil companies???

They would rather see their country be raped by the ultra rich than give a dime of it to the blacks. Bigotry and religiosity makes otherwise smart people make very stupid choices. What other way could you get someone to vote against their best interests?

What's funny is when I travel to Europe they all have what's going on in America figured out. It's utterly amazing that half the people here don't even know what's going on in their own country.
