I liked it up until I got this this point:

Personally I can't stand McMansions on postage stamps. A yard is for more than kids, especially as a buffer between you and your neighbors.
The LED lights, heavy insulation and other energy saving features are great. The article doesn't' specify whole house fans but those are a very energy efficient way to cool off a house cheaply. Skylights add light without the need for power or compromising privacy in tightly packed housing.
Taking this idea a step further natural gas fuel cells may allow residential electrical power generators with waste heat used for hot water and home heating.
Its a step in the right direction. Be nice to see it succeed.
