Rooms are too good and modern bathroom is amazing with the brown Bathroom Furniture. Kitchen seems small but i loved the white color cabinets.

Unfortunately, zoning ordinances often didn't allow for this. If this issue can be resolved, tiny homes are great for multiple family members to live near one another. I used to live in a 560 sq ft house when I was in college. It was perfect for me.

Christ what a joke. Reader I'm not defending Zillow's estimates as being correct, just pointing out that the Zillow estimate was not for the house that was for sale for $180,000. However, my understanding is that Zillow uses sale prices to get their value. I live in Palo Alto, and there's been a significant jump in prices this year in my neighborhood mostly, it seems, driven by Asian immigrants buying.

It seems like you could hire a contractor build some thing like this in your backyard for around 50 to 60k. Are people in Palo Alto that out of touch that they don't realize that house without land is just a rotting box that will loose value.

I seem to remember hearing much of the land in PA is owned by Stanford and leased to homeowners. Anyone know how much truth there is in that?

Most of the land Stanford owns is in the hills, and undeveloped.
