I wonder how many of them did... and how many of them are now in foreclosure or underwater because of it.

Simple. And with 70% of commerce here based on consumerism, the pinch we are seeing means drastic decreases in the standards of living.

It could cost him this election as many now feel he is aligned with wall street. When the non stop countrywide TV ads were airing in the mid 2000s saying "nobody can do what countrywide can" I would call the 800 number on the screen and complain that they were ruining America with their liar loans. They'd retort that all of their loans were solid and the borrowers were well qualified... Liars.
