Religion rots the mind. On one hand, you have physics and environmental science showing how warming oceans can drive more frequent and more severe hurricanes, which are essentially heat engines. On the other hand, you have "god hates fags". Yeah, we should keep tolerating religion and all of its idiocy.

CHRISTIANITY CAUSES HURRICANES! The southeastern United States is the most religious part of the country, specifically Christian. (Florida has a significant Jewish component, but the region is mostly Christian.) That same part of the country gets hit by more hurricanes than any other. THOR, THE GOD OF THUNDER, IS WARNING YOU PEOPLE! BEWARE THE HAMMER OF THOR! AS LONG AS YOU PERSIST IN DENYING THOR, AND WORSHIPING WIMPY GODS WHO HAVE NO HAMMERS, THOR WILL CONTINUE TO PUNISH YOU WITH A SEASON OF HURRICANES EVERY YEAR.

    ALL HAIL THOR!

    http://www.examiner.com/article/thor-vs-the-christians

Beginning with Charlemagne’s reign, Christian Europe moved to bring the Gospels to Scandinavia. However, the Norse gods stood in Christ’s way. During Christianity’s slow march through Northern Europe, the thunder god, Thor served as a unifying force against the alien religion and symbolized the resistance movement. In the end, Christians used Norse myth against itself and Thor’s death in Ragnarok led to Adam and Eve and the end of Scandinavia’s old religion.

There you have it, Christianity doesn't just make shit up as it goes.

Both are more plausible than Christianity.
