http://www.nationofchange.org/uaw-files-charges-against-romney-his-auto-bail-out-profiteering-1351783724 The Sh** hits the fan for Romney.

Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out. At a press conference in Toledo, Bob King, President of the United Automobile Workers, will announce that his union and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a formal complaint with the US Office of Government Ethics in Washington stating that Gov. Romney improperly hid a profit of $15.3 million to $115.0 million in Ann Romney's so-called "blind" trust. The union chief says, "The American people have a right to know about Gov. Romneys potential conflicts of interest, such as the...

OK what about Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank and Harry Reid and countless others, making profits by investing on knowledge they had first hand info on, especially due to the fact they were the ones choosing which companies were going to fail or survive. They shorted those that lost, and went long on those that did.

But we don't hear about that much.

Either get serious about the all of the crooks in Washington, and the fraud and corruption, that has inundated our Political system on a whole, and not just by political party. Or just shut up about it already, it's obviously NOT important.

Mitt Romney is JUST one man, what about all of the other Sons of Bitches?

But you don't get it, you and that bear guy Mel. Or is he Alf. His comments are certainly other worldly.

Here is the deal, Abe, Romney opposed the bailouts, but then made money off the bailouts and hid that fact by hiding the investment in his wife's blind trust.

Yep, perfectly legal, unethical, and abhorrent insider trading. But as pointed out by bgamall4 this is different than what Romney is being accused of.

Nope, and we won't because this type of insider trading is an entirely bipartisan issue. It is perhaps the only issue supported entirely and equally by both Republicans and Democrats.

But nobody is being 'charged' for anything as you falsely claim in this thread's title.

Sorry, alien, but this is a formal ethics charge. It isn't a judicial charge.

There is no such thing as a 'formal ethics charge' except in your imagination.

Your own article said, "a formal complaint'. You just want it to appear that Romney broke some law when in fact he did not.

Actually, the headline of the article says "Files Charges". However, the semantics do not really matter. The word "charges" does not = illegal.

For that matter plenty of things are unethical, but perfectly legal. The point here is not that Romney did anything illegal, but that he is unethical.

'filing charges' connotes initiating a legal proceeding to everyone except liberals who get caught mis-using the term.

    From the article (emphasis mine):

"The Presidential candidate has just learned that tomorrow afternoon he will charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out."

That remains to be seen. Here are rules for presidential candidates:
