Maybe they are just fighting the Fed's unending QE. The Yen is close to life time highs-though lower now. The Chinese manipulate their currency and nobody seems to care-so why should the Japanese keep doing nothing. Borrow and spend seems to be the new mantra-countries or for mortgages.

Not just it's currency, but commodities, businesses bottom lines, stock valuations , on and on it goes.

China dropped $30Billion of government money to take over the solar industry.

Partly why Solyndra failed.

That's impossible. Goverment investment in industry never works. Well, you know, with the exception of defense related industries.

It's an untold story.

While China dumped into Solar, Obama spread the money around into multiple renewable energy sources for local consumption.

Hence as of 2016 the USA will be a net exporter of gas and oil!

North America Can Be Net Energy Exporter by 2025

"The EIA said last Wednesday that U.S. natural gas production would grow faster than expected through the next two decades, paving the way for the country to be a net gas exporter as early as 2016."

This is how to create safety and security for the USA, without being dependent on ANY middle eastern country!

Although I am anti-fracking! It's not transparent and not as safe as the energy companies make it out to be. The long term effects of pumping 600 toxins (unknown) + into the earth is troubling.
