Christie: House Inaction On Sandy Aid ‘Inexcusable’

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS/AP) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is fuming over the House’s decision to not hold a vote on Superstorm Sandy relief package.

Christie says the storm aid measure is not something you “play politics with” when people are suffering. Christie said, “Our people were played last night as a pawn and that’s why people hate Washington, D.C.”

A number of Republicans are actually angry over this- and specifically at their own party.

I heard the audio of Christie's attack. He is furious at the GOP and Republican childishness. My guess is he'll declare himself an independent sometime in the next few years and sell himself as the best of both right and left.

Those of you (like CaptainTrout) who want to support this corrupt cult need to take note. In 2016, radical psycho right wing shitheads might not be invited to participate. The new coalition of Democrats and moderate Republicans seen in passing the fiscal cliff legislation might persist and lock you guys out entirely.

Obviously not which is why you put an idiot like Romney up against a competent leader like Obama. Even with the advantage of Romney changing all his views, hating 47% of the country, not disclosing his tax returns like all other candidates, and lying his ass off during the debates, it was still a rather close thing.

However Christie will not toe the line nor will he grovel at the feet of Rush Limbaugh nor will he tolerate the Tea Party. He may (and this isn't proven yet) discard newscorp altogether and run a campaign that appeals to moderate Democrats and Republicans.

If you want to call this being anointed by the media, well whatever but I think it's a lame assertion.

The amazing thing, after all this time, is that you STILL believe there are two teams, the Red team and Blue team.... wow...

Agreed. It will be a bright day in America when Republicans are eliminated from the political process.

Followed by totalitarian unopposed rule by a single party like Germany in 1930's.
