After waiting an hour for the single threaded task to complete in Visual Studio 2012.

Also Windows usually doesn't let me copy and paste the text of error messages, so I have to re-type them in order to search online for help.

Copy text from the watcher, you can do it there.
As for not being able to copy text from Windows error dialog boxes, that's an OS API thing not the developer tools. And MS Sucks ass for it, they need fix that shit, it wasn't that way in XP.

Why not create a generic collection instead of a Dataset?
You can query the collection using Linq just as easy if not better than using a dataset,

Obligatory just use Oracle instead. you'd be amazed what the free version of it can do (Oracle XE).

You still have to comment it somewhere. Why not in your declarations, then use Sandcastle to package you up a nice nifty CHM file.
