Buy Now (before we're charged with mortgage fraud!)

I know you are into the mortgage meltdown articles, too, so thought
you'd want to see this pair of articles together. Beazer Homes says Now is
the Time to Buy' Now, as in, before we're charged criminally for
mortgage fraud? These crooks would be funny if it wasn't wrecking so many
people's lives and destroying the economy. Makes me sick to think
they'll probably get a taxpayer funded bailout instead of a prison
jumpsuit.

FYI the link on the first article to 'comments' doesn't do to a
comment. It goes to spam. At least it did when I clicked on it.

NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY.

Poll: Consumers believe now's the time to buy

    By Daily Journal Staff

Even in the face of skepticism over the nation's economy, more consumers
are seeing opportunity in today's housing market, according to a new survey
commissioned by Beazer Homes USA Inc., one of the country's Top 10 home
    builders.

Recognizing that the current market favors buyers, 77% of respondents said that
with good credit and a down payment, the time is right to buy a home, a 20%
upswing from a similar January survey.

But there is that pesky mortgage fraud still going on:

The indictment, charging six people and listing others as unindicted
"co-conspirators," alleges a web of players, from companies accused of lying
about homebuyers' income to builders who allegedly paid kickbacks. A subsidiary
of Atlanta builder Beazer Homes and a local builder are included as unindicted
co-conspirators. The indictments refer to them only by code names; the Observer
used public records to identify them.
