Nursing HomesWe've all heard horror stories about nursing homes. Someone you casually meet tells you a story about someone who was mistreated or died, with the story ending with, "and nobody knows what really goes on in there." This is true, because there are few places that you can find actual stories of successes or failures in nursing homes. Patrick's own experience with nursing home placement prompted the creation of the Nursing Home Forum. He & his family realized that they were on their own at a time when they needed guidance as they attempted to navigate through the sea of information. His goal is to help others by providing a forum where people can exchange information about specific nursing homes and healthcare-related issues. In order to find a facility, either type in the name of the facility or click on the state and choose a nursing home from the list. Tell us about your experience.
