A routine traffic stop left Zoe Brugger with a traumatizing experience after cops decided that she and her boyfriend were hiding drugs in their vehicle. Officers demanded Zoe exit the car, lift up her shirt and shake out her bra in order to see if she was concealing anything. The search didn't reveal any drugs but left the young woman deeply embarrassed.

Another reason that all drugs laws should be abolished. The war on drugs is far worse than children getting drugs. This is at the very least sexual assault.

I would be 100% for the woman or her boyfriend killing the cops under Florida's Stand Your Ground law in order to prevent this sexual assault and the illegal threat of illegally arresting them to strip search the woman. That's a threat of rape.

Where are all the 2nd Amendment nuts? Shouldn't they be taking out their guns to arrest these criminal cops?

Looks like Florida.

Sexual assault? Threat of rape? Seriously?

There was no stripsearch, no full cavity examination. Sure the young lady may have been embarrassed but its not like the officers even patted her down.

Yes. The pig in question did the following:

1. Illegally searched the car after being denied permission.
2. Punished the innocent woman for refusing to submit to a vehicle search by repeatedly sexually humiliating her.
3. Threatened her with false arrest, a humiliating rape scan with an x-ray machine, and a cavity search.

So, yes. That's equivalent to threatening to rape somebody.

And quite frankly, Florida's Stand Your Ground law does not require a person to submit to ANY victimization before using deadly force when his or her or someone else's life is in danger. And since these criminal cops were armed, that means the victims' lives were in danger.

So yeah, I'd fully support anyone shooting those cops to death in order to prevent the assault that happen and the assaults that the criminal cops threatened to do. Hell, I'd fully support someone using the Stand Your Ground defense to prevent the cops from performing the illegal vehicle search.

You got all that from the video? All I saw was a cop asking a frightened young woman turn out her pockets and bra.

Is there a link here I'm not aware of?

EDIT

Ok, I found more detail on this story online not aperent in the video. It sounds like the story is not over yet.

This didn't look bad to me. A bit of a power trip perhaps, that's an inescapable feeling at times when dealing with police. But not sexual harassment.

If one of the cops were female, they could have legally "violated" her far worse than this.

From what I see of Dan's quoted inference, I'll look at it again. But I don't know Dan. EVen if it's true that that cop went slightly too far, the idea that she would be within her rights to kill them ? Wtf ?

It's all over the Internet and the local news in Florida. Yes, there was a lot more than the video shows including the cop threatening to strip search and cavity search the victim. The cop is a total scumbag. If any non-cop did this, it would be multiple felonies.

She has the right to resist sexual assault, and if the assailant is armed, that is reasonable fear of one's life. The Stand Your Ground law makes an allowance for police doing lawful law enforcement; it does not shield police breaking the law including sexually assaulting persons, illegally searching vehicle, falsely arresting individuals, threatening individuals with bodily or sexual harm or false arrest, or extorting people by using such threats.

The letter and the spirit of the law would certainly be on the side of an innocent civilian shooting one or two criminal police officers. The fact that they are police does not diminish their crimes; it amplifies them.

In the same way a woman who asks her rapist to use a condom is consenting to being raped?

There is no consent when someone uses intimidation and threats to coerce someone to "agree" to something.

I fully endorse this statement. I'd like to add though that the gender doesn't necessarily matter, if the victim would be male and the cop threatened/demanded an anal search, it would be equally rape.

Dan had that woman tried what you are condoning she and her boyfriend would be dead and the only side of the story being told would be that of the cops. Given what little was available for viewing on that video they'd probably be exonerated. Trying to gun down a cop is just asking to be killed. I promise you, unless you are VERY lucky they will take you down.

ARE you feeling lucky?

As it is we live in an incredibly litigious society. There are plenty of ambulance chasers who would LOVE to take on a case like this. If there is a case that department will be sued, and the cops will have to explain their actions in court.

True, not a very practical solution ;) It's pretty sad though that it has come to this.

Litigious in general yes, but it has always been extremely hard and unrewarding to take on the police, so here the "if-there-is-a-case" theory does not apply IMO.

I'm just saying that if they had fought back and were prosecuted for killing the cops and I were on the jury, I'd find them not guilty. I'm not saying anything but that.

Again look at the video. Did the cop keep his drawn gun on Zoe while his partner performed a savage but fruitless cavity search?

No.

Did the video show either officer perform a lingering letdown?

No.

Did the video pick up audio of Zoe being threatened with arrest and rape by X-Ray?

No.

The only evidence presented here - the video - does NOT support pulling a weapon on a cop, not even close. Everything else is nothing more than he said, she said. If you were in the jury pool you'd have to recuse yourself.

This is rape.

The woman's husband, brothers and father should find the cop and decapitate him and fuck the stump while one of them positions the head so he can see it before the head loses the capacity to see.

Well it IS Florida...

Tell me, if this was your sister, how long it would take to rip the cop's head from his shoulders, fuck the stump and piss on his face while you tell him the name of the dogs you'll feed his head to, before he succumbs to unconsciousness. No jury would fail to burst into applause.

If this was my sister there would be no need. She'd do it all herself.

I read more about it and learned that they were stopped for a broken headlight and there was no reason to suspect drug use, so it is pretty messed up.

The cop was suspended a few day (with pay) but is now back to work.

I don't know whether it's still the case, but Central Florida cops used to have a reputation for being the absolute worst thugs after LA and the Bronx.

What do you expect from them having to work in the brutally humid heat, under constant duress from the savage actions of The Rainbow People, and the rest of the sorry lot that inhabits the ocala forests?
